The Dayton Raiders were selected as the #16 small team age group program by the American Swim Coaches Association. The rankings were based on percentage of athletes ages 10-14 that met the qualifying AAA & AAAA+ time standards relative to their club size. The Raiders were the only team in the Dayton area named to the list, and one of only 3 teams in Ohio to make a list. Congratulations to our Dayton Raiders swimmers and staff!

A huge thanks to Olympian and Silver Medalist Rhyan White for swimming with SR1/2 practice and speaking with a few of our training groups! She shared her journey in swimming and some wisdom for aspiring younger swimmers. I’ve got a feeling our swimmers are going to commit to underwater kicking a little more now! We encourage you to follow along Rhyan’s pro career as she trains with Wolfpack Elite at NC State.

Hi Raiders Families! I’m Kathryn Chambers, and I’ve been part of the Dayton Raiders for nearly seven years through both coaching and swim lessons. I’m excited to share some exciting news with you all! I’ve recently completed intensive training in Infant Swimming Resource (ISR), a specialized survival swimming program that teaches infants and young children how to float, turn, and reach safety if they unexpectedly find themselves in the water. This training has been an incredible experience, and I’m passionate about helping young swimmers develop essential water survival skills. I’m...

Here is a treat for all swimming enthusiasts! We have stumbled onto a real treasure - the original, yellow-tattered journals from the Dayton Raiders (Dolphins) founder Coach "Mac" Preston. Coach Preston passed away in Georgia in 2004. However, his daughter, Ammee Burgess, found these Gem City Classics and tracked us down. We thank Aimee from the bottom of our hearts for not letting these go! Today's electronic capabilities allow us to keep these journals alive forever. A special thanks goes out to former Raider parent Randy Shively and current Raider...
